About Coordinator
Brenda Reid (she/her) is a graduate student at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture. She is currently working on her thesis titled Care as Architectural Practice based in Kitchener, where she lives. Her work takes her outside, documenting and analyzing the pandemic from the context of a resident. She looks at spatial implications, where and how residents adapt, and overall responses of care from different groups of people - individuals to city officials.

Working as a designer, Brenda has completed co-ops in Toronto, Amsterdam and Kitchener in roles including interior design, architecture, graphics and 3D printing. She actively considers the privilege architects have in city making and examines its role in public well-being.
